The new “Borrower Defense of Repayment” regulations – Is Your School Ready?

On July 1, 2023 the new “Borrower Defense of Repayment” (BDR) regulations will go into effect. In a nutshell, these regulations will allow students to complain to the Department of Education (ED) about how your school handled their admission, and ED can force the school to pay back the student loans issued to the student. So, what can you do to protect your school from a potentially huge financial liability?
Some things we’ll talk about:
